| In 2015–2017, the Journal “Problems of Modern Economics” was publishing lectures on general economics. The format of the publication limited the possibilities to treat a number of categories in a more detailed way. This article is dedicated to the category of micro-economic demand. According to A. Smith, demand is the purchasing ability in juncture with the need, in general economics, it is the cost of goods or money that belonged to the person who presents the demand. In microeconomics, demand is “the full curve of demand,” “dependency between the price and the quality of goods” that do not belong to the person who presents the demand. These approaches are different from each other as a heliocentric model from the geocentric one. | Key words: microeconomics, general economics, demand, supply, size of demand, size of supply | Pages: 311 - 317 |
