| The article focuses on specific features characteristic to the formation of the key structural links of aqua-territorial production systems (ATPS) of Russia’s Far East (fishery, ship-building and ship repair, marine transportation) that started developing in the middle of the 19th c. Over the period of time until nowadays, one can distinguish several states of ATPS development, based on the key elements of its branch- and territorial structure, as well as its role in Russian and international territorial labor division. Sea ports of the Russian Far East plays a special role in the international integration process between Russia and the countries of Asian-Pacific region.
