The problem of emotional burnout and managing the emotional state of the pedagogical personnel (Russia, St. Petersburg)
Emotional burnout in the pedagogical milieu emerges as a result of a number of factors — personal, communicative, competence-related, organizations, economic, etc. High social responsibility is one of professional features of the pedagogical personnel. Emotional burnout impacts not only the personality of a teacher, but the quality of the teaching process as well. Teachers’ emotional state depends on their relations with students, colleagues and administration. Managing of the emotional state presupposes creation of the favorable psychological climate, conditions for continuous education and follow-up training, as well as the necessary educational and methodological basis to implement successful teaching activities.
Key words: emotional burnout, emotional intelligence, emotional capital, anti-crisis personnel management, transformational leadership, managing the personnel’s emotional state
