|The article presents the analysis of small-scale entrepreneurship in Transbaikal territory and the pritoty project “Small- and medium-scale entrepreneurship and support of individual entrepreneurial initiative.” The authors reveal the unclaimed potential of small-scale entrepreneurship and its major orientation towards to sphere of services. The article emphasizes the major contradition existing with regards to small-scale entrepreneurship, that is the discrepancy between the aims definied by national (state) interests and the interests of the economic subjects in various sectors of small-scale business.|
