| | | The article focuses on contradictions and conflicts that arise in the process of project implementation in the sphere of real estate development. The author distinguishes internal and external contradictions of development projects and discusses mechanisms and ways of their resolution while particularly stressing that it requires constant improvement of the schemes of interaction among project participants and the system of their contractual relations. The article analyzes escrow accounts as a tool to resolve development contradictions and pays particular attention to external contradiction between the project participants and their opponents. The existing system of urban development regulation does not possess effective mechanisms to resolve such contradictions, therefore a number of ways to overcome them arises in the context of practice. The latter allows distinguishing the key methods of contradiction resolution between the interests of the development and its opponents over recent years.
