| The article makes an attempt to view corruption from the perspective of political economy, which presupposes the analysis of property relations and the issue of property alienation. Corruption-based interactions, which have their economic consequences, are viewed as gratuitous appropriation and alienation of property in redistribution processes; administrative power is the source of these processes. The author analyzes the system of Russian economic relations, its impact upon the scope of corruption-based phenomena, and offers methods of eliminating the corruption-based component in the Russian economy. | Key words: corruption, property relations, rent, Russian economy | Pages: 38 - 41 |
