The crisis of 2020 and the search of the investment development dominant (Russia, St. Petersburg)

The article focuses on the features of the socio-economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The crisis bears an economic, but may not be described as cyclic, interpersonal, existential, spatial, or mobilization-related. Collapse of a number of types of economic activity led to the accelerated progress of the distant means of communication. The authors conclude that the need to create the sixth technological order and industry 4.0 is not accompanied by the emergence of the qualitatively new dominant of investment development.
