Specificity of innovative processes of mariculture production in open water areas and their impact upon the economy of maritime cities (Russia, Vladivostok)

The article analyzes specific features in the process of mariculture production in open water areas, in particular focusing on factors relevant for the open sea production and on comparisons with maritime production of mariculture. The author discusses the practice of this technology’s implementation and its impact upon the economy of coastal territories.
