| Analysis of the current system of educational services organization in the city of Krasnoyarsk revealed a number of drawbacks related to insufficient number of children’s education services, considerable distance between education objects from the recently developed apartment complexes outside of the city center, and the lack of complex approach to organization of the educational environment among the city’s districts that would take into consideration the existing legislation, territorial specificities, and people’s opinion. The article presents results of the social survey that shows a high degree of interest, on the part of the city population, to the organization of the educational environment on the territory of their micro-districts. The authors discuss the current legislation and the existing system of educational environment organization and offer a number of recommendations to improve the state of social infrastructure of large cities. | Key words: education, organization of educational space, legal support of education, public opinion, quality of educational services, territorial resources, social infrastructure | Pages: 182 - 185 |
