| The article focuses on small-scale enterprises in the sphere of retail trade in Germany during the Coronavirus pandemics of 2020. The authors discuss measures undertaken by the government to coordinate and administrate activities of retail enterprises and to render them financial support. Retail trade faced many risks due to insufficiency of their financial potential, they had problems related to the organization of individual and corporate activities. Direct and indirect governmental support allowed small-scale retail firms optimize their financial reserves and avoid bankruptcy. Particular attention is given to how effectively this short-term aid was used in the context of the pandemic crisis, as well as conditions that guarantee the sustainable development of small-scale enterprises. The article emphasizes that the use of multi-channel hybrid business models becomes rational in such critical situations. The authors argue that state support of small-scale business and the entrepreneurial spirit of the retail trade organizers will increase the innovative sustainability and the consumer value of small shops and trading spots, allowing them to acquire the necessary consumer values and services. In the context of quarantine this will allow firms to develop, and the population — to believe in successful future. | Key words: innovative approaches, coordination, administration, retail trade, crisis | Pages: 142 - 145 |
