| The article presents the strategy of energy cooperation between the counties of North-Eastern Asia, on the one hand, and Russia, on the other. The authors enumerate the major principles of programs and plans of energy strategies in China, South Korea and Japan, and present a model of energy partnership. Special attention is given to the “Energy Strategy of the Russian Federation till the year of 2035,” which takes into consideration the latest radical changes on the global energy market and political tensions with the West. The “Energy Strategy of the Russian Federation till the year of 2035” reviews the forecasts for economic growth, international oil prices and currency rates. The authors describe two major scenarios for developing and implementation of the tasks — the conservative and the target-oriented ones. Both scenarios presuppose that in five years oil prices will restore at $80 a barrel, and will reach $95–105 a barrel by 2035. | Key words: Russia, China, South Korea, Japan, energy cooperation, model of partnership, energy sector, strategic aims, renewable energy sources, energy strategy | Pages: 26 - 29 |
