| | | Recently the topic of climate acquired not only the economic, but also a political character. The article focuses on issues related to politization of the topic in a broader context, i. e. the choice of development models starting with the period between 1987 and 1992, the era of collapse of the two-block political system and formation of the sustainable development concept. The European Green Deal of 2019 aims at formation of the post-crisis world model on the new technological basis and with the new ecologic mainstream through the energy-based transition. The author emphasize that this does not eliminate the anti-sustainability trend related to the globalization processes of the last 30 years, and does not take into consideration a complex nature of the climate crisis. The article presents suggestions for collective decision making on the global level for the post-crisis world model on the basis of commonly recognized long-term strategy of sustainable development. | | Key words: sustainable development, green course of the European Union, ESG-strategies, energy-based transition, de-globalization, post-crisis world order | | Pages: 191 - 195 |
