| | | The article discusses the historical and theoretical aspects related to development of innovative studies as science in Russia. The author analyzes the impact produced by the Soviet academic scholarship upon the formation of the terminological apparatus of the Oslo Manual, adopted for the first time in 1992. At the same time, the article shows the impact of Marxist theory upon the formation of econometrics in the USSR.
