| The article discusses the deals on the market of merges and acquisitions in the Chinese telecommunication industry, one of the key industries where the largest transactions are taking place. The authors define factors that provoked bursts of activity both in the quantitative, and in the monetary expressions. Chinese politics called “New infrastructure” pushed the market of merges and acquisitions to a sharp upsurge in 2020, which was connected with the construction of the internal cutting-edge 5G network. The state invested billions of US dollars into the project, which in its own turn attracted both financial and strategic investors.
