| | | The article presents specificities of waste management in different countries of the word: Japan, China, France, Swiss, Netherlands, Denmark, Russian Federation. Foreign countries have gained successful experience in waste management, processing and utilization. Often waste constitutes secondary material resources and have tangible value. Presently, many countries developed various mechanisms to stimulate population and the production sector to process waste, starting with sorting and going all the way to deep processing and production of bio-gas, which is then used by boiler facilities and even bio-trains. In the Russian Federation waste management is a pioneering experience; usually, waste handling boils down to its transportation to landfills.
