| The topical significance of development and implementation of waste-free technologies is determined by the necessity to eliminate the anthropogenic impact of industrial waster upon environment. The authors present a theoretical discussion of the issues related to waste-free technologies and their development, such as the essence of the terms “waste-free technology” and “low-waste technology,” conceptual principles underlying waste-free technologies, various approaches to the concept of waste-free production. Waste-free technologies are based on the complex processing of the raw materials, minimization of the net discharge of unused waste per production unit, and the implementation of the cutting-edge technological processes. Implementation of such technologies will lead to a more effective use of natural resources, which meets the interests both of the present, and of the future generations of human beings. | Key words: low-waste technology, the concept of waste-free technologies, ecological security, ecosystem, solid waste | Pages: 204 - 207 |
