| The article performs the modelling of the impact produced by commercial banks, in particular, through credits provided to households, upon the inflation of 2000–2020 in different countries of the world. The key task of the modelling is to determine the variability of credit volume change and its impact upon inflation, including the lags of impact. The author offers two scenarios of influence produced by bank credits to households upon the index of consumer prices; the first one is sustainable monodirectional (positive) impact of the growth of crediting indices upon inflation in the course of a certain period or periods; the second one — a complete lack of any managerial impact. | Key words: monetary and crediting politics, commercial banks, credits to households, inflation, index of consumer prices | Pages: 115 - 120 |
