| | | The collapse of the USSR, this first and largest socialist state, 30 years ago, produced a considerable effect upon the global history processes, upon the development of socialism and capitalism. The first research on the reasons of the collapse emerged in the China immediately after the event. Over more than three decades Chinese scholars analyzed complex reasons of the collapse from various perspectives and points of view. The article presents a review of opinions expressed by Chinese scholars and experts upon the reasons of the collapse, which will be useful for Russian scholars for a deeper understanding of mistakes and lessons associated with it, as well as for considerations with regard to the national ideology of contemporary and future Russia. The lack of such ideology resulted in disorientation that took place over the last 30 years on the post-Soviet space, as well as the failure to develop long-term strategic aims of socio-economic development. | | Key words: collapse of the USSR, CPSU, China, Chinese Communist Party | | Pages: 92 - 96 |
