ESG-risks in contemporary travel industry (Russia, St. Petersburg)
The article discusses in the impact of possible ESG-risks upon the international tourism, analyzes existing scholarly literature on the impact of ratings of regional based on the level of ESG-risks for the tourist demand in various countries, based on the impact of each component of the risks distinguished. The authors conclude that apart from the economic factors, demand for tourism may also depend on non-economic factors, such as ecological, social and managerial (ESG) risk factors.
