| The article is dedicated to a broader understanding of the population’s consumption rationing and perspective of this concept’s application, which was traditionally association with geopolitical and natural cataclysms such as war and hunger. In case consumers adopt the culture of responsible consumption, this forced reactive rationing should be substituted for pro-active, both in the sense of its exogenous and endogenous nature, i.e., as both directive and indicative. The authors offer a classification of the consumption rationing factors and a systematization of its resources.
