| The article shows that the problem of realization of human potential, which became more acute after the introduction of anti-Russia sanction, had emerged long before the last crisis and stem from the neoliberal economic model, within which Russia was relegated to the role of raw material supplier with slowed down technological development. The author focuses on the idea that the national wellbeing in the country should be attained as a result of investment into knowledge-intensive industries, which should create high-efficacy jobs, rather than their removal to research funds, which led to the devaluation of the national currency and decrease of people’s level of life. The author is concerned that the politics of development based on raw materials will be preserved, only with re-orientation from the West to the East. With this regard, the article stresses the importance of changing the paradigm of development. | Key words: human potential, development paradigm, regulation of labor relations, level of people’s life, Sovereign Wealth Fund, labor payment, qualified specialists | Pages: 58 - 61 |
