| The article offers a new look at the centuries-old history of resource security of European metropolises in the context of sustainable development concept. Currently, the issue of resource security is discussed globally by the geographically unlimited “collective West.” The persistently advanced concept of the inclusive sustainable development finds itself in the irresolvable contradiction with the constantly reproduced deformed division of labor between the nucleus and the periphery (according to Wallerstein) within the world system of capitalism. One may surmise that much of post-colonial research is to a certain degree characterized by apologetics of colonialism. | Key words: Westernization, inclusive sustainable development, Colonialism 2.0, post-colonial research, sustainable development, nucleus and periphery of the world-system | Pages: 72 - 75 |
