| The article focuses on pollutant emissions produced by thermal electric stations and boiler houses. The novelty of the authors’ approach consists in the fact that the parameter of fuel expenditure in energy equivalent is taken as a starting parameter for the calculation of the gross emissions. This parameter corresponds to the data on the electric and/or thermal energy produced. This approach is used for the qualitative evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions. The methodology described allows receiving calculated forecasts of the major pollutants in cases when reliable information on the quantity of used fuel is either absent or insufficient, as well as in the process of developing energy production objects on the basis of pre-given project capacity. | Key words: pollutant emissions, thermal energy, fuel expenditure in energy equivalent, methodology of calculation of the atmospheric pollution | Pages: 177 - 182 |
