| The article discusses the current situation on the major markets for CO2 emission trading and its development in the future, particularly, the aspects that impact the process of creation of the future market of carbon regulation in Russia and its structure. Such factors as the high speed of growth of the global carbon market and the need to abide by the ratified Paris agreement, as well as the project for transborder carbon regulation, adopted by the European Union and anti-Russia sanctions and active formation of the markets for carbon permissions in other countries produce a considerable impact upon the model of the future carbon quotas trade in the Russian Federation. | Key words: carbon markets, transborder carbon regulation, Paris agreement, climate change, net-zero technologies | Pages: 183 - 185 |
