| | | The article focuses on the content and the level of conceptualization and conventionalization with regard to the phenomenon of “mega-trend.” Existence of mega-trends in the history of human civilization is undoubted, and the article aims, on the one hand, to demonstrate the emergence of the sustainability mega-trend as a result of the universal recognition of the sustainable development imperative, and on the other, to offer the very notion of “sustainability mega-trend” with regard to innovations as a potentially ethical source of sustainable development resources.
