On the directions of de-dollarization of Russian-Chinese payment transactions
(Russia, St. Petersburg)
The article focuses on “de-dollarization” of the Russian-Chinese system of payment transactions and settlements. Based on the analysis of using the ruble and the yuan for payment transactions, the real and potential demand for yuan on the Russian market, the political conditions necessary for payment transactions in rubles and yuans, as well as the technical conditions for such payments, the author provides a positive forecast for the perspectives of using rubles and yuans in the system of Russian-Chinese payment transactions.
