| The article focuses on preconditions for the transformation of the Northern Sea Route from the lowest seasonal corridor to one of the major routes, alternative to Suez and Panama Canals. The authors describe the impact of climate changes, administrative and infrastructural limitations, as well as the international sanctions related to the special military operation.
