| | | The concept of the tourist space is constantly developing under the impact of new technologies. Today the physical and the digital spaces are intersecting to create a new phenomenon that can be described with the use of the term “phygital.” Perception of the tourist space, as well as the interaction with it, changed due to the physical emergence and behavioral changes in travelling: in the past, interaction with the tourist space had only physical dimension, whereas nowadays virtual information enriches all stages of the client journey. The article focuses on the new technologies and analyzes their impact upon the perception of the tourist space by travelers at all stages of the client journey.
