| | The article provides an overview of approaches to the problem of leasing operations, describes the leasing mechanism in the UK, and analyzes the adaptation measures taken by leasing companies under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors conclude that leasing companies have generally adapted to the new conditions and notes the significant role played by associations in the functioning of leasing in the UK.
Despite measures to mitigate the effects of the pandemic, the volume of contracts and their quantity are still decreasing.
