| The article provides a comparative analysis of trade and economic relations between China and Russia, as well as between China and the United States. The assessment of trade and economic relations between the two countries should be done not only by the absolute size of trade between them, it is necessary to assess the dynamics of specific trade indicators relative to the country’s GNP, the quality of trade, the dynamics of growth and the growth rate of mutual trade between the countries. The dynamics of specific indicators of mutual trade between China and Russia tends to grow and is much higher than between China and the United States. The authors show that when assessing economic relations between China and Russia, political relations between them should also be taken into account. The supply of mineral resources from Russia to China supports the economic security of the People’s Republic of China. The article concludes that relations between the Russian Federation and China are “politically hot, economically moderate,” but dynamically developing. | Key words: Sino-Russian relations, trade and economic relations, «political heat», «economic cold» | Pages: 71 - 73 |
