Article - Problems of Modern Economics

The article discusses the possibility of using the “sustainable growth challenge” parameter of a company as a universal risk metric integrating the assessment of economic and social business development. On the basis of the distinguished empirical relationship with ESG risk according to the data of the Sustainalytics rating agency, the author demonstrates the potential of this indicator to reflect the likelihood of threats to the non-financial component of an enterprise’s economic activity.
