Clean energy in Latin America: The case of Mexico (Russia, Moscow)
Clean energy is an urgent topic for most Latin American countries. In recent years, Latin America has achieved tremendous success in using its incredible resources of wind, solar, geothermal energy, biofuels, etc. Now Latin America is on the verge of an energy revolution that will change the region and create many business opportunities. Mexico is no exception. The country has an extensive and diverse base of renewable energy sources. This article defines the role of renewable energy sources in the economic development of Latin American countries with regard to Mexico. The author distinguishes, which renewable energy source has a greater impact on economic development, and which factors influence the production of clean energy in Mexico.
