| The author examines various aspects characterizing the importance of the concept of Eurasianism for the development of Russian economy, paying attention to both the historical roots of the idea of Eurasianism and its modern perspective. The article emphasized the geographical component of this concept, the approach from the standpoint of the doctrine of the typology of economic systems, as well as the problems of choosing priorities for Russia’s foreign economic policy in the face of unprecedented sanctions pressure.
