The study of the degree of coordination of the relationship between the transformation of scholarly and technological achievements of universities and the innovative potential of regional high-tech industries (Russia, Moscow)
The article examines the relationship between scholarly and technological innovations at universities and the development of regional high-tech industries. It shows that scholarly and technological progress has become a key factor in the economic development of companies and regions, in which universities play a central role by conducting fundamental research and translating scholarly and technological achievements into market innovations. The analysis is based on data from 31 regions of China for 2019–2022 and establishes a system of indicators to assess the ability of universities to transform scholarly and technological achievements into the innovative potential of high-tech industries. The results of the study show that there are significant differences in the level of consistency and interaction between the two systems in different regions, especially in the eastern and western regions of China. Therefore, in order to achieve sustainable and high-quality development of the regional economy, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between industry, academia and research, optimize the industrial structure through scientific and technological innovations, and implement a development strategy in accordance with the characteristics and needs of each region.
