Specific features of creating a database for the practice of professional ESG consulting (Russia, St. Petersburg)

The article focuses on the specific features of creating and maintaining a database by a consultant in the field of “green” economy and ESG transition. The study established that the database is not only a tool, but also a fundamental basis for professional ESG consulting. The author identifies typical types of work with the database within the framework of consulting practice and describes advantages and limitations of creating and maintaining a professional database in the field of “green” economy and ESG transition. The article describes testing of the database capabilities in the process of setting and solving a system of problems in the context of overcoming the prohibitions and restrictions of the ESG transition and stresses the objective impossibility of conducting professional ESG consulting and developing intellectual products without relying on a professional database.
