| | | The article focuses on the logistics approach in the activities of the Joint-stock company “Russian Post.” The mission of the Russian Post implies the best combination of digital and physical component of economic activity, which allows to increase the availability of information, goods and services. The author presents a detailed infrastructure of the JSC “Russian Post” and highlights its main advantage — territorial coverage, the ability to provide services to its partners throughout the Russian Federation, including the most distant and hard-to-reach locations. The article delineates the major directions of development of the “Russian Post,” that is, the introduction of electronic travel sheets, which will significantly reduce the costs of business processes, shipping, printing and storing documents as well as transfer to electronic document management, which will help reducing paperwork costs.
